My research is focused on accelerating the development of new therapies for several neuromuscular diseases. My research involves neuromuscular disease epidemiology, Phase II and Phase III clinical trials and the development of a new registry for patients with neuromuscular diseases in Canada.

Research Interests: 
I am a pediatric neurologist and the physian leader of the pediatric neuromuscular program at the Alberta Children's Hospital. Currently I am the residency training program director for pediatric neurology, and I am also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. My research interests are related to pediatric neuromuscular and pediatric demyelinating diseases, in collaboration with other researchers both locally and internationally.
