The mission of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute (HBI) is to be a centre of excellence in neurological and mental health research, translating discoveries into innovative health care solutions.
This mission will aim to support and conduct research on the healthy and diseased brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves to assess, understand and disseminate knowledge about the diseases affecting the nervous system.
The Hotchkiss Brain Institute (HBI) operates as a unit within the University of Calgary's Faculty of Medicine.
